Starting in May, we’re also moving all regularly scheduled Mat Pilates classes to the beautiful Montgomery Park (630 N Kingsbury St) for the season. Class is included in our Monthly Unlimited Memberships or $15 per class for drop-ins. Reserve your spot on the Motus Fitness App or Sign Up Here!
$15 Community Class
Our community classes are held a few times a month and can be found under COURSES on our “Book a Class” page. Classes vary between Intro level, Mixed-level, Sculpt, and Spine Algin. These classes are a great way to try out Pilates and check out our studio!
Intro to Reformer Pilates Class
Intro to Reformer is perfect for new Pilates students and those who are looking to brush up on the fundamentals! This class provides a foundational understanding of the equipment and basic Pilates principles focusing on core engagement, alignment, and controlled movement. The instructor will guide students through essential exercises that help build strength, improve flexibility, and enhance body awareness, all while emphasizing proper form and technique.
Mixed-Level Reformer Pilates Class
Mixed-Level reformer is designed to accommodate a range of experience levels from beginners to more advanced students. Each class typically consists of exercises that focus on core stability, strength, alignment, and mobility while allowing for modifications for various skill levels. Instructors guide students through a balanced combination of exercises that challenge the full body while ensuring proper technique, making it an ideal option for those looking to build or refine their Pilates practice.
Advanced Reformer
Our Advanced Reformer Pilates class is designed for individuals with a solid foundation in Pilates who are looking to deepen their practice and challenge their strength, flexibility, and control. Instructor approval or 50+ classes are recommended before taking our advanced class.
Advanced Reformer incorporates more complex exercises that require a higher level of coordination, balance, and body awareness. Using the Reformer machine, participants will engage in dynamic, full-body movements that focus on strengthening the core, improving posture, and enhancing flexibility. The exercises will emphasize precision, alignment, and fluidity, pushing participants to refine their technique while building endurance and stability.
Reformer Sculpt
Sculpt is a dynamic, full-body workout that combines the benefits of Pilates with strength training, using the reformer, dumbbells, ankle weights and resistance bands to build lean muscle and tone your entire body. This class targets every major muscle group with a focus on controlled and precise movements, designed to sculpt and define while improving flexibility, balance and posture. Whether you are looking to increase strength, enhance enhance muscle definition, or challenge your endurance, reformer Sculpt will leave you feeling strong, empowered, and toned. Modifications and progressions will be made as needed, making this class suitable for all levels!
️Spine Align
️This reformer class will enhance spinal alignment, strengthen your core, and improve flexibility. Targeting posture and spinal mobility, exercises are designed to support your back and relieve tension. Props such as the Spine Corrector and Foam Roller are included to deepen stretches and improve balance. Perfect for all levels, this class will help you move with more ease and stability!
Pilates Mat Class
Pilates mat is a low-impact workout focused on building core strength, improving flexibility, and enhancing overall body awareness. The class involves a series of controlled movements and exercises that target various muscle groups, with an emphasis on proper alignment, breath control, and mindful movement. Whether you’re new to Pilates or an experienced practitioner, the class provides a full-body workout with emphasis on controlled, intentional movements.
During the summer months all regularly scheduled Pilates Mat classes will be held outdoors at Montgomery Park located at 630 N Kingsbury Street.
Vinyasa Power Yoga
Vinyasa Power Yoga is a fast paced style of yoga linking breath to movement while building strength and endurance. Class is led by Physical Therapist and certified Yoga instructor, Dr. Eric Eickholtz. Yoga classes are held on the 5th Floor in the Chicago Dance Studio and during the summer months class will be outdoors at Goddess and the Baker located at 165 W Superior Street.
